  • Will I get bulky by taking part in the Get Strong Now Challenge?

The short answer is no. The reality is that strength training should be in everyone’s weekly routine. What will happen is you’ll tone up and create lean muscle whilst you burn fat.

  • What if I haven’t exercised before/in a long time?

We’ll start you slow, but you get you results fast! We’ll be able to coach you and get you the results you want regardless of your experience levels. Whether you’re a first-timer or you do have some past exercise, we’ve got you covered.

  • What if I have existing injuries/pains?

Your programme will be carefully tailored to accommodate your needs if you do have any injuries, so much so you’ll find throughout the programme that you’ll start to eliminate any previous pain and actually strengthen those areas!

  • What can I expect after 6 weeks of the Get Strong Now Challenge?

After 6 weeks you’ll become a stronger version of yourself in every aspect of the word! You’ll look better, feel better and have bundles of more energy right from when you wake up in the morning to throughout the whole day.

Since joining PERFIT my life has completely changed. Something that used to seem a chore to do has now become my hobby. This has all been because of the coaches at PERFIT and the community of people I now surround myself with. From my two years of training here, I have become physically and mentally stronger. Gaining so much confidence in myself and always pushing to get better with my strength and conditioning.

I started at PERFIT during the winter lockdown at the beginning of 2021. It started off as a New Year’s resolution for me, but it soon shaped my lifestyle as well as my outlook on health and fitness, and I haven’t looked back since. PERFIT makes exercise enjoyable - you turn up, the workout is ready for you, and you leave having pushed yourself to your limits with the support of the coaches. It has also pushed me out of my comfort zone; I had always been adamant that I hated running and couldn’t do it - now it is a hobby I love and I have had the confidence to take part in local races with the run club. However, PERFIT hasn’t only been about working out for me. I’ve been able to meet like-minded individuals at the gym, who many of which I now call friends.

The biggest change has got to be my smile! I was very nervous about joining Perfit, my son and daughter in law encouraged me to join in October 2021 and two weeks into my trial I just knew it was the best decision ever! I have always tried really hard with commercial gyms with limited results, I have spent so much money on PT sessions before again with quick results but no longevity towards a healthier lifestyle.


I feel healthier, happier and very welcomed at PERFIT and the gym community is like a friendship with a group of likeminded people where there is always a smile and someone to partner up with on those workouts which need two people. I joined with my good friend Katrina and at first we would synchronise our sessions but now both of us are happy to join a class even though the other can’t make it for whatever reason. All in all I wish others would join, people my age say “I can’t do what you do” well I say yes you blooming can! Yes it’s hard, yes you may ache, yes you may not ever love a burpee or a heavier squat but YOU can do this because if I can, you can!
