I’ve nearly completed 10 months at Perfit, the place has completely changed my outlook on health and fitness. I enjoy every session even when I don’t feel like going, the coaches are very motivating and your mood always changes regardless of your day at work or your previous nights sleep as soon as you’re greeted on your way in. If that doesn’t work there is a room full of friendly members with similar enthusiasm to help get you going. The community within the gym is great and also helps with accountability as you see others doing well and staying disciplined when you’re falling off a bit and it helps motivate you to get back to where you want to be. Before joining I was sceptical of time as I’d convinced myself I didn’t have time as I was a new dad but unlike most gyms I just need to turn up and it’s all set up for me I don’t have to think and I know exactly how long I’ll be there for. I also wasn’t sure if I could do the training along with working a physical job but from the very start I was encouraged to stay in my own lane and the results would come and I would be coached through the whole process. At times I can admit I was over training as the place really is addictive but with advice from the coaches who noticed this I feel I’ve managed to find a nice balance of managing my training with my job and allowing time for my family, time in which I feel a lot more energetic and mobile when chasing around my 18 month old son.

Time at PERFIT has been great, I have found friends for life through the community and have built long lasting friendships away from the gym. The social aspect is amazing and you always have people you know at the gym so you don’t have to worry about not knowing anyone when you come for a workout. I have trained at Perfit Fitness for nearly 2 years now, and I can honestly say this experience and journey has changed my life. I am someone who has always struggled with my fitness, diet and general motivation to attend a gym. Perfit has changed my whole mindset towards fitness, and as such, I consistently attend Perfit 5+ times a week. I have become much leaner, gained a lot of muscle, dropped body fat percentage, and most importantly I am finally happy with the way I look. The community feel is also very important to me, training alone has never inspired me much, but the constant encouragement from a group of like minded people strives me to complete every rep, set and session, even when you’re not feeling 100%.
